It comes at the right time, perfectly fated.

So, I'd ended my part time work as an English teacher at an elementary school. This also indicates the end of my semester break for two months. Again, I've got another discoveries in my life, and most importantly, I'm able to deliver my knowledge to the students and encourage them to be even more fun in learning English. Yeah, most of them are not that strange with English compared to my childhood time. Parents exposed them to English earlier than what our parents did in my childhood time.

I'd got a self reflection which surrounds my mind since yesterday.
I look at myself and what I have now, it's simply a bliss regarding to the right timing.
I'm proud to say that I'm lucky to have what I have at the appropriate time.
I was born in a family of rather average income level. I'm always thankful that my parents sent me to the kindergarten which fully English speaking. My mum told me I used to have that kind of British slant in speaking when I was small but I couldn't recall it, anyway, I think I was cool at that time!
Stepping into elementary school was another phase for me, I stayed with my grandma during weekdays and only back to my home during weekends. I was appointed to be class monitor at Standard One and prefect for Standard Two and Three. Those were the great times where I grew a lot. Yes, A LOT. I got the chance to be like friend with my class teacher, participated in costume ( I played the role of an old granny ), won prizes in story telling competition.
Then, I was just a normal student since Standard Four till I graduated. But, it didn't stop myself to have awesome schooling memories!
I started to be active in sports and games including 100m racing, 4x100m relay racing, tug of war and also Race Walk in MSSPP ( Penang Schools Sports Council )
Thanks that I had a very strict class teacher which disciplined us very well. Somehow she requested something we think is crazy at that time like her wants our class to conquer all the prizes in quizzes like Maths quiz, Essay Competition etc.
I met her in the elementary school that I taught. She can't recognize me as I'm just the 小咖, but thanks that I really emphasized on discipline of being a student.
I was then encouraged by a teacher to join English Choral Speaking Team.
In 2003,our team got champion in zone competition and third prize in state level.
The next year, we managed to get champion in zone and state level which then proceeded to national level!
It was another great experience I had. I got the chance to stay in serviced apartment with my friends and got the chance to discover more. One thing to be a little regret was the national level competition was held in Penang and the serviced apartment we stayed is actually 5 mins walking distance from my home LOL
I managed to maintain my academic though I didn't go for any tuition, but I dropped to be in second class in Year Six.
Still, I joined choral speaking team but we managed to get third prize in state level. I didn't perform very well in sports compared to the previous years. I think it's because I already in puberty phase and I really felt the weight! Haha, but all these are my memories.
Peer pressure in owning some cool stuff also led me to have such desire, too.
I saw my friends got their own computer,e-mail and even cell phone. I asked from my parents as well, for sure. But I didn't own any of them, so there led me to admire at those who own it.
Nokia 3315 was the good phone to me at that time! Haha, I also borrowed from my dad to send texts with friends to ' quench thirst ' for a while.
And this tally with the title of this post, I had computer when I was form one when it was the perfect time that I got to expose to IT stuff. Some folios need to be done in typing and M.Excel was used in geography as well. I learned how to register an email address for myself and discovered about MSN ( which was  top listed software each student had to have at that time after friendster )
So now I recall it back, it was simply nice to own the first desktop pc at the first year of high school.
And for mobile phone, yeah, I was rewarded for being nanny at home at the end of year 2006. My first cell phone was Motorola V360, the flip phone that was on trend at that time.

Coming to Form 3, I'd successfully scored straight A's and got interviewed which then featured on the newspapers! Yeah, this little big thing came at the right time upon my success in academic performance.
My schooling time after that was rather common one as I put effort in academic and grew up in friendship as well. I started to be cautious in manage my personality and attitude. Once again, thanks for all the teachers that taught me in Form Four and Form Five. They are best and awesome in delivering knowledge and guidance.

I entered another phase when I was in Sixth Form. I had my first love which it ended after one year. I got to exposed to different kind of personalities from the people there after joining activities. I learned and I grew a lot within. I suffered from illness and ought to be tough in handling my health as well as STPM trial exam and the real one. Most of the people enjoyed their sixth form schooling time very well yet I'm grateful over the unfortunate things I faced which I grew up very much in thoughts and mental. The Cantonese saying of '十八岁,卜卜脆' but then I'm grateful that I have rather different experience to mature myself. '十八岁,要生性'

Being youth is to discover more, learn more which then add value into oneself.
As a STPM graduate, I participated in different jobs. I worked in daycare centre and be tuition teacher on weekdays, and also earn pocket money from home tuition. I went for sampling promoters during weekends. I got to exposed and see the operations of hypermarket like Giant and Mydin. I saw the patterns of customers which then I took it as lecture to myself.

I was offered to Business Mathematics course at tertiary studies. It was out of my choice and I didn't regret for it. Recall it back now, it's another fated one as I have good coursemates now and of course some who don't practise the similar or appropriate habit in life. It's definitely okay as I reflect their behaviour to be the life lecture to myself. It's also a perfect time to learn to live independently at outside. I didn't enlisted in national service but it's okay as now I have the opportunity to be fully independent in my own living since 20. Ya, perfect timing once again. I also got myself a laptop before entering campus, thinking back now, I used to admire my friends who own a laptop and those who have those cool IT gadgets like iPad etc. But hell yeah, I was allowed to bring iPad to university as it's actually family-share item.

Personally, I think that it's not a problem to be single at this age though most of my high school buddies are already in a relationship. I would regard that an appropriate and true love is awaiting for me, it's just the matter of time. IT'S OKAY, let it be. Also, it's fine even if I'm still single in 10 more years. Somehow this stuff is destined. Whatever, it will come when it's time.

I regard my life is awesome, yes, greatly. I'd turned to be a positive thinking person ever since two years ago. It's imaginarily like SEE YOU NO MORE, DARK SKIES and WELCOME TO STAY, DEAR SUNNY DAYS.

I'm thankful for what I have at the present, the past and I'm looking forward to be even much better of me in future in every aspect.

Mission Accomplished : Reached the cottage featured in ' The Journey' ( 一路有你)

Oh no, I promised myself to blog about Cameron Highland trip in May but failed to do so in the end. The month of May was an amazing one which full of excitements! ( which hectic physically at the same time )

I have a course mate from Cameron Highland. The first time we met and my eyes were seriously blinked up when she said that she is from Cameron Highland.Hey, it sounds cool! And during my semester break, I got permission from parents to visit her with my friend,Wan Ying ( while explore more at Cameron Highland)

What does it come to your mind when you think of 'Cameron Highland' ?
Cold breeze? Tea farm? Strawberries? Steamboat?
There are the musts when you visit Cameron Highland but now, ever since the movie 'The Journey' (一路有你)filmed in theater, there is one more highlight featured at there! Yes, the cottage where it is全叔's house in the movie.

We went there for 3D2N, from 17th March till 19th.
I was very happy to meet the owner of the cottage featured in 'The Journey' (一路有你) and we got to know more about the stories behind, definitely an exclusive one!
Wan Ying overnight at my house the day before we departed.

How could we miss to snap some photos as we were quite excited on that evening?

Then, we hopped on bus at 8.30am the next day and we reached Cameron Highland at nearly 1.30pm.
My friend, Shrey lives at Tringkap

We came from Simpang Pulai. You can refer from the simple map of Cameron Highland as above. Tringkap is located centre of all the places.

Wan Ying and I feel so much excited that we got the cold breath once we got down from the bus, it was just simply cool!! And there goes our little discovery of Cameron Highland.
The first thing we did was filling our tummy full.

I was simply satisfied to get 炒河粉 aka 滑旦河. Imagine it isserved warm in your mouth while you
are in the cool weather place. Simply heaven!
It cost me RM 6 for this. Usually, the price of food in highland and in southern region of Malaysia are higher compared to North M'sia, like in Penang.

Oh ya, we stayed at Shrey's house,  save cost for hotel!
After putting our luggage, we followed her dad to farm.
I considered the journey to the farm as a bumpy one! Yes, seriously bumpy! That's why normal vehicle is not able to reach there, only tractor.

Go green now!

So close yet so far...

Curious, seeing the little buds of the leaves.

How dare you go against gravity? LOL

It was a new and good experience for me as I never been to farm. I felt quite refreshing to see everything in green and enjoy the cool breath at the same time!

And we would never forget to take photo together, accompanied by the tractor! LOL

We backed to Shrey's house at around 4.30pm and we got some food as tea break. We went to night market at Kampung Raja before heading for steamboat dinner at Jin Steamboat , located at Kea Farm.

I Love You..I Miss You..随便!

We three enjoyed our steamboat till late. It cost us RM 3O something if I'm not mistaken.
Just a common meal to eat at Cameron Highland, at least you don't treat your tummy poorly.

Okay, the next morning was another day to explore more!
We started our day with breakfast and then we visited Cameron Lavender Garden, which Shrey worked part time after she has done her STPM.

All thanks to Shrey, we entered the garden with children passes.
The person in charged was actually allowing us to enter without any passed but somehow we understand the rules and regulations, so she charges us rm3 for Wan Ying and I.

I really can't believe that the flowers are real one, it's simple eye-catching at the entrance site.

I turned into a damn cheered one, immediately! Simply amazed with the plants..

And I think I dressed correctly as the theme of the garden is purple.

Photo session!

Married couples even put their photos which they took photos here. Sweet and lovely but..

We came to disturb for a while LMAO

This indeed brought my mind to Hokkaido, it just full of strong sense of Hokkaido where the plant all are colourful and you wouldn't believe that they are real ones.

我没有放弃治疗啊。。。

I thought I can only see it on TV but again, I was surprised to see this big big pumpkin, how cool it would be if they build a small door to let visitors enter haha

Scenery view from uphill and I don't why I feel like I'm at Taiwan while standing there

I always got surprised in the garden! This time, let me be a little girl taking a swing..

European inspired building, which is the office actually.

Mushroom hat ladies!

I got myself two packets of freshly picked strawberries later evening, which Shrey's ex colleague purposely picked in that afternoon, much appreciated!

RM 10 each! It's more than worth of the value, I am not the fever fan of strawberries yet my sister is. These two boxes didn't disappoint her in fact!

They even provide self-picking service at RM 10 per 500gm

And flowers are free to picked at RM 2 each.

This girl looks so much cheered here!

Last stop of the garden, the souvenir shop.

That's why I said I dressed perfectly for this visit , everything in purple!

I'd just done Henna ( Indian's arts of painting ), so not to forget to pose like this haha
( was actually intended to block Wan Ying to take solo photo)

Miss Corn! Kawaii..

You will definitely see this whenever you pass through Kampung Raja to Brinchang and further.

Afraid of getting lost in the garden?
No worries, this illustration is the best guide for you.

Posed like tourist!
We'd finished visiting the garden and then we headed to Kea Farm...

DENG DENG!!

As of March 17, the film had raked in a total of RM17.16 million.
The cottage featured in the movie ' The Journey' is at Kea Farm. Thanks God that we asked the people around and she brought us to the place and so lucky that we met the owner of the cottage on the way!

TA-DA! Spot the cottage behind? Yes, it is the one featured!

Uncle didn't want to reveal his name, perhaps to keep low profile since he is considered as famous people in Cameron Highland huh..

Uncle told me that the production crews had been seeing him several times to deal with him. He rejected at first yet he was okay after persuaded by his son.
The director, Chiu 导 told uncle that, the previous films were not getting good response as expected. So, this time, he wanted to do something bigger in productions. Then, he chose this cottage as the house in the movie.
Besides, uncle was told to leave the cottage, meaning keeping everything in static for shooting purpose. uncle has actually another house nearby.
They took one week in shooting at the cottage and uncle was well paid for lending his cottage too.

Still remember this? Yeah, the cottage!

Ah-Bee wannabes?

The store room downstairs, the place where Ben sleeps.

After visiting the cottage, we walked to the temple,福来宫 where the wedding celebrations is held in the movie. It's just a short road to reach there, 2 minutes will do!

Back look to the cottage on the way to the temple.

It's my first time to see Dandelion,蒲公英! The buds flies when I blow it..woohooo..another fun!

Where Ben welcomes guests..

And this is it!

So,we left Kea Farm with laughter and full of satisfaction.
It was 2.30pm and we didn't stop from continue exploring.
We moved to Boh Tea Farm this time.

Finally we reached after nearly 10 minutes of journey to Boh tea farm.

Tourist-pose, again.

We got tea break there. I got myself a slice of strawberry cheese cake and a cup of  hot green tea. I don't really get into tea actually except green tea.

Thanks for the foreigner visitor who volunteered to take photos of 3 of us.

Crazy and innocent photo shooting will not ever break or stop with me LOL but yeah, I enjoyed within.

I bet that it will also be a breath-taking to you when you really visit there. The tea farm is simply huge and wide, your mood will turned very good at the same time!

Let me chant some, 高。。山。。青。。

We ended our visit to Boh tea farm at nearly 5pm and then we went to Brinchang to buy the bus tickets back and dropped by souvenir shops.

I was so much grateful that Shrey's family held BBQ for us as dinner. It's quite relaxing to get your food cooked while you are in the cool temperature..( yeah, I keep mentioning about ' cool temperature')

I even told Shrey that I want to married a man from Cameron Highland so that I can always back here, haha, what a lame joke but I will never forget to pay visit back to Cameron Highland.

We took bus backed to Penang at 8 the next morning and we reached home safely at noon.

I am very contented upon this trip. I achieved what I planned before heading to Cameron Highland. To reach the cottage was in my plan yet to meet the owner of the cottage, and got some exclusive updates from him were even awesome, just out of my expectation!
I really put down everything aside and enjoyed myself there in this trip. and not to forget, I'd got more closer with my friends too.
It widened my vision and my traveling experience, too.
Looking forward to my next trip with my friends, Langkawi, perhaps?
