Humble Review: Midnight Curry Noodle @ Jalan Pekan Cina, Alor Star, Kedah.

Yeah my blog is full of dust and it's time for this owner aka cleaner to on duty, right now!!!
It's merely hard that having a really free time now, submission of assignments and presentation are all in track since lecture week goes until next week only. At least, I'm free today.

I only knew it from one of my friends about this famous curry noodle last week despite I've already got four semesters in uni. So, 5 of us had a midnight escape this time. Midnight escape is the first time experience for some of us but it's acceptable because young people deserve some, occasionally.

Frankly speaking, I could smell the aroma of the curry in such distance where this photo was taken.
As the title stated, the curry noodle stall operates from 11p.m. till 5a.m. the next day.
The stall is placed right in front of a coffee shop and there are lots of tables and chair ready serve the customers as well.
Standard size of a bowl of curry noodle is RM 3.50
But there are a variety of add-ons available to pick, ranging from sausages, many kind of meatballs, bean curds to cuttlefish or even sliced abalone!
All you have to do is pick whichever you like ( of course in appropriate amount ) in an empty bowl provided and then pass it to uncle.

Then just tell uncle if you want to add 猪血糕 ( black pudding ) in your noodle.

Two big servings of curry noodle is up on table after nearly 15 minutes of waiting time.
Total RM 17,  2 bowls for 5 pax.
We had 5 mini taiwan sausage balls, 1 cuttlefish, 5 quail eggs(鹌鹑蛋) and another one sort of yong tau fu dish.
It definitely looks tantalizing but the aroma is more to the Chinese style home cook curry ( slightly stronger here with the helps of coconut milk ) where we usually take it together with rice.
Add-on and noodles taste fairly.
Personally, I could get a much better one in Penang, not really in a high favour to a Penangite like me, I suppose.
我本身也比较爱吃重口味的食物啦 XD

The owners are also friendly and easy-approached too. We even had a small talk before we left. They asked us if we want to take away some back to hostel since they claimed that it can last till afternoon.

Friendly Reminder:
  1. Kindly wear trousers if you don't wish to be the hunted target of the mosquitoes.
  2. There are a number of stray dogs there nut not harmful at all.
  3. Take good care of your belongings since the stall is set up at roadside and there are vehicles passing by all the time.
